Hi folks, i'm new to this forum so be nice.

I'm just trying to style a table, nothing too complicated but if you go for border="1", you get that crappy looking white border with fake shadow, but I rather fancy a nice thin grey or green number, just a single line. Any ideas?

You can use CSS. See the FAQ entry Where can I learn about CSS? and the section on Box Properties in our CSS guide.

Also note that in CSS you style the whole table and its individual cells separately. You may also want to use the border-collapse property to avoid doubled lines between a cell and the table container.
