Sorry if this is a weird question.
But I am in the process of creating this form:
http://computerwebservices.net/formcontact.htm

I am trying to add some option values and an input box, but for some reason nothing is appearing after the option menu. The only thing that appears are the choices.
I am not quite sure why this is so , or what I could be doing wrong.
Please advise.

Our online validator reports markup errors, including structural problems in your form:

If you change to a HTML doctype you'll get a more useful report. You don't write XHTML, you (mostly) write HTML.

Hello,
I got rid of some of those validation errors. However the validation errors were to do more with the names of the text areas in the form, and some meta tag descriptions.

My main problem is that when I enter any text after the drop down list, the text does not show up.
The only thing that showed up was the input box. Please advise.

You still haven't fixed the structural problems with the select element.

I just wanted to say thank you for your help. Sometimes working on the same thing continually makes me overlook very simple silly errors smile.gif
