Tumblr Theme Help :), Resizing elements Options

Hey

I've recently started a banner-blog on tumblr so I thought it would be cool to use the Nice Slide theme by Max Davis. It's kinda typical of me to pick an awesome theme and end up playing around with it, so please bear with me.

As much as I love how it looks the sizing of the frames for posts bothers me.

Not for my banners, that works well. But if I do a text post I end up having a scrollbar on it which doesn't suit me even though I added a scrollbar script to make it look better. These scrollbars show up even on my ask, submit, and added pages and it just looks too clunky for my taste.

So, I was hoping one of you lovely and oh-so-awesome people might know how I can reformat the sizing of these post boxes? I've looked and looked and I'm being a bit oblivious about it I guess.
