How can I hide the html-filnames, in the browser url ?

Yes I know. But I like to hide the /*.html in the browser.

Now the browser show:

www.steenmikkelsen.dk/index.html
www.steenmikkelsen.dk/contact.html
www.steenmikkelsen.dk/news.html

wish it to whatever page that appears only show "www.steenmikkelsen.dk" in browser

Do you still want to show the content of the other pages (i.e. not just the content on index.html)? That makes it hard or impossible for users to bookmark or link to the other pages' content.

That would add insult to injury IPB Image. Actually I recall using frames like that used to be popular in the 90s and early 00s, especially for hiding obnoxiously long querystrings on database-driven sites.

Using URL rewrites would at least be marginally better. Or Ajax. dry.gif
