Audio Help (new to forums), I need Help with music on webpage Options

Hi ive recently been trying to make a mini website to test some of my skills with html and css and very little java script, so far ive been using href="" and link to a completly new webpage with that music playing in the back. The goal i want to have is to make it alot easier to add music to a website so basically u can play the music on the same page aswell as use the audio controls and you can also stop and play a new song still on the same page.
