HTMLHelp Forums _ Markup (HTML, XHTML, XML) _ Header tag within head tag

Posted by: sayluv Apr 26 2018, 09:47 AM

hi-
I have a website on squarespace. the template I am using doesn't provide a method for allowing for a header above my top nav. however, they do allow for a code injection that goes into the head tag.

would it be ok if i put a formatted area in there with some basic info such as my email phone etc or will putting this in the head tag before the body cause browser issues?

Thank

If you mean the page's HEAD section (between the <head> and </head> tags) then no, you can't put body content there.
