I am building a website for a friend and have the basic layout working fine in IE7 and Firefox 2.0. However in IE6 the white background does not extend across to the right hand column and I haven't figured out how to fix this. Can anyone help me on this one? The website is on a test URL at:

Thanks in advance!

I have no idea why MSIE is doing what it's doing, but Opera and Firefox are displaying strangely because you are positioning your content. That takes it out of the normal flow, and DIV (and other) elements are supposed to shrink to fit only the unpositioned content that remains within the normal flow.

Hi Darin,

Thanks for your response but could you clarify for me what you mean? How could I be using css mark up to get the sam layout but with better results across browsers? I'm a little frustrated because I used an example from a new book that was supposed to work across all of these! Any further details would be really appreciated. Thanks.
