<span style='color:Green'>Rule</span>
<embed src="http://filelodge.bolt.com/player/mp3.swf" flashvars="&config=http://filelodge.bolt.com/player/config-200x100
start.xml&file=http://www.filelodge.com/files/room44/1268765/20%20Rule.mp3" allowScriptAccess="always" name="player" width="100" height="20" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer">

I can make that music play automaticly. But every time I, or anyone else goes to another page it restarts. is there a way to set this up so members can stop it and it doesnt restart after each page?

I also want to know if I can put it in a thread. Can I tell you my site so you can help me? Or is that advertising?

You have to have this Flash movie playing from a separate page . . . or frame and all it's associated problems to keep it from reloading every time.

Well i finally found the play button at the bottom of the page (it's pretty hard to find).

If you want it to keep playing you have to have the button make a window popup (the music plays from that window) and as long as that window is open it will keep playing the music. Does that make sense?

right now you have this embedded flash player. you'd have to change that to a button or image link that opens a new window. Put that in the thread you desire.
http://htmlhelp.com/faq/html/links.html#new-window

That new window would have the embed tag that is currently at the bottom of your main page - you need to have the flash player autostart. I'm not 100% certain, but maybe if you added autostart="true" to the embed tag.

P.S. Close the embed tag with </embed> at the end of that section.

I can make that music play automaticly.
Maybe for some people. But for others of us, the only way we'll hear your sound file is if you link to it so we can follow a normal link when we want to hear the sound file.

Usually in embed tags autostart="true" will work, except for those who have plug-ins disabled. In those cases only a link inviting them to download and play it might work.

But I'd suggest they're not your target market so I wouldn't worry about that too much.
