I am working on a css menu that looks fantastic in IE8 and FF, but it is having some trouble in IE7. It is live at http://www.castlebaths.com/test3.html, and the css is http://www.castlebaths.com/cb.css. The issue is with the horizontal menu below the logo. A bright blue box appears around the links on a:hover, but in IE7, the bottom of the box does not display. Can someone help me to help IE7 display this the way I want without messing it up in the other browsers?

Note: I did not write all the horrendous code that you will come across, and I am certain the html does not validate, but that should not affect what I am working on here.

Thanks in advance!

I hate to break it to you, but MSIE 6 still has 15 times the market share of MSIE 8, and MSIE 7 has 40 times the market share of MSIE 8. It's pretty safe to ignore MSIE 5, but MSIE 6 and MSIE 7 will be with us for a while longer.

I know that most of the internet world is running IE7. That's why I've got to fix this for 7; I hope that a solution for 6 and 7 will be fairly simple...just adjusting margins or paddings somewhere. I will continue to fiddle with it, but if anyone can help, it would sure save me some time and energy.

Okay, this seems really strange to me, but I just checked www.castlebaths.com/test3.html in IE6, and it displays fine. So for the record:

IE6: Works
IE7: Broken
IE8: Works
FF3: Works
