Hi,

I created and sliced an image in Photoshop and inserted the slices into a table in Dreamweaver. All the previews appear fine but when I put the code into the Tumblr (yes, I'm using Tumblr to host the code) lines between each row of images appear. The code is below along with the link to the Tumblr. If anyone has any idea how to get rid of these white spaces it would be much appreciated.

Thank you for your help in advance!

Thank you for that link. It has helped clear up the problem for me but where do I insert the code that they have listed to fix the problem?

In a style sheet or embedded style block. I don't know what tumblr gives you access to or how you edit your stuff there.

I am editing the code in Dreamweaver. Sorry, I don't have more of an idea of what I'm doing, I just play around and attempt to teach myself what I'm doing. How in Dreamweaver would I edit a style sheet or embedded style block?

Thank you for your help!

Sorry, I've never used DW either. But it looks like you don't have any style sheets at all, so you need to either create an external style sheet or add a style block.
http://htmlhelp.com/reference/css/style-html.html

BTW you checked that it worked. How did you do that?

I had checked it out in a browser preview.

I was able to fix the problem with the code:

valign="top"

Thank you!

If the CSS is embedded in the page, just use the Code button to see the HTML of your page.
External CSS files can be opened as code. Any changes you make there, will affect the rendered page in DW (click Refresh first).

(PS: I had to deal with DW the other day and I hated it! Never again!!)

This problem sucks. If your not reying on anything too fancy, just delete the <doctype!> stuff. Never had this problem in my goecities days..

There are good reasons for using a doctype.
See:
