Sup guys

I am thinking about trying to build a website for Tarantula's that will just be a collection of information about all the different species of T around 800+.

There are a ton of sites with info but none of them allow you to search for what you want without combing through a bunch of stuff you are not interested in. How do I search with tags?

Please give me some info about this to kinda point me in the right direction.

Thanks

What do you mean by searching "with tags"?

Its hard to explain say I have 4 things two of them are white and 2 of them are black. They are tagged to show as much so when you search for White you would get two results.

Each item would have a lot of tags that I would set when I created the item on the site.

Ah, so it's basically keyword searching, where you've specified keywords for each item.

How are you managing items on the site? Are they in some sort of product database tied to a shopping cart system?

Anyway, one of these CGI site-search programs or these PHP site-search programs may meet your needs.
