Need help with doll maker 4 daughter Options

I'm trying to create a doll maker for my daughter, whose 3. I'm an amature graphic designer (all self taught stuff) and I know basic html. But I'm running into some difficulty (obviously lol). This type of stuff is beyond my comprehension so I'd like to know if it can be done. Here's a link of what I have so far. Diva Doll Maker
What I want to beable to have her do is drag a hair type (IE: Type one is Sailor Moon) into the "Create Here" box, go up to the drop box of hair styles, select hair style 1, pick a color and drag it ontop of the black hair color. I was thinking a mini frame but it doesn't seem to work when I do it. The hair colors will show up in the right place but I can't drag them outside. =/ Anyway of getting around this? (right now I took that bit of html out) Or suggesting a better way?
