I am new here but couldn't find any topics on the following question. I don't even know if I'm in the right category. Anyways here goes:
How do you get your page to read like xyz.website.com? Is this the same as website.com/xyz? Do I have to pay additional for this through my hosting provider? fyi: I am an amateur and am only using the now extinct FrontPage 2003. Can I even do this through the simple, WYSIWYG FrontPage? Thanks a lot! |

xyz.website.com is not the same as website.com/xyz.
xyz.website.com is a subdomain of website.com, while website.com/xyz means a directory in the root of website.com/. If you want to set up a subdomain, you'd best contact your hosting provider or registrar. |

You can usually do this yourself through your Control Panel. The number of subs you can create depends on your plan.
