Good Morning,

I’m using dreamweaver 8 and trying to set up a contact form for one of the pages.
At the moment I have a form that launches the users version of (outlook) email software and sends via this.
I want a form that’s just build into the page not using another program to launch.

I’ve been reading and sounds like I need the HTML code on the page but also the PTP part that converts the send data

Where do I save the PTP code to? a page in dreamweaver?

Any help would be super.

Many thanks

See http://htmlhelp.com/faq/html/forms.html#mailto-form and http://htmlhelp.com/faq/html/forms.html#form-howto

That should probably be PHP (or some other server-side program language supported by your server/webhost), otherwise it's correct.

Don't know what (if anything) DW lets you do with PHP, otherwise you can save the PHP script with a text editor and upload to your web account.
