Your site is clean and readable but in top You have big white place. You can do with it something. Maybe slogan, login form, from right sidebar?

I get many 404 errors on image files and it continues cycling through these same files, increasing the number of errors, while staying on the page.

There are also CSS errors, many of which concern the universal selector *, which is actually invalid but often used anyway.

I suggest you pass the page(s) through the HTML validator ( http://htmlhelp.com/tools/validator/ ) and CSS validator ( http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/ ).

Oh wait. The CSS validator can't validate your CSS, as it gets an error on your domain: I/O Error: http://tvfordays.com: Forbidden

Yes, I don't thought about errors, I don't checked. Frederiek has right. You must correct errors.
