Do any of you know what progress has been made with game animation that has audio – and good audio sync for HTML5 / or Canvas animation? Every development tool I look at seems to lack the sound feature. And, while I looked at Flash CS6 I didn’t see any examples of work made with it that included sound. I hope for more than just a few little sound effects. We’d like to be able to have characters speak.

Any help, or resources you can suggest will be appreciated!

Thanks,

Ev

Well, you did say Webkit animation.

Anyway, I'm not at all into this kind of thing, but Apple's Safari HTML5 Canvas Guide on Adding Sound to Canvas Animations might help.

Thank you, that looks interesting. Like Edge, however, it doesn't appear to have a sound track option.
